The fat lady has sung, the World Series is over, the Yankees have their 27th title, and Joe Buck can now only terrorize America one day a week.  Sadly, The Fall Classic will inevitably become less active as white-hot playoff excitement cools to the controlled burn of the Hot Stove League, its Tumblarity slowly dwindling and its contributors turning their attention to more serious matters. Like basketball!
